the night time is never the right time
TPP New Gallery Space Inaugural Exhibition
Artist: Christine Negus
at The Pitch Project
706 S. 5th Street
Milwaukee, WI 53204
Sept. 10 – Nov. 6, 2016
Christine Negus’ exhibition, “the night time is never the right time” takes place in The Pitch Project’s video screening room.
The video screening includes the American premiere of “my better years I” from Christine Negus a Canadian based artist and writer. Negus employs playful humor and incendiary tones to continually taunt her viewers. Through the emptying of totems, historical revisionism takes a decidedly aggressive feminist turn, as boundaries are broken and the certainty of social structures are assaulted.
