Christine Negus’ exhibition, “the night time is never the right time” takes place in The Pitch Project’s video screening room.

The video screening includes the American premiere of “my better years I” from Christine Negus a Canadian based artist and writer.  Negus employs playful humor and incendiary tones to continually taunt her viewers.  Through the emptying of totems, historical revisionism takes a decidedly aggressive feminist turn, as boundaries are broken and the certainty of social structures are assaulted.

Christine Negus is a multidisciplinary artist and writer based in London, Ontario who won the National Film Board of Canada’s Best Emerging Canadian Video/Filmmaker award at Images Festival. She received her MFA from Northwestern University in Chicago IL and her BFA from Western University in London ON.
